 Meredith Flynn-Ripley has spent the majority of her career building and leading new companies. Prior to MediaFriends, Meredith served as president and CEO of three private software companies in the Boston area: Stargus (now ARRIS), a broadband cable network management software company with customers such as Time-Warner Cable and UPC; Seaport Software Solutions (now part of Microsoft), a company specializing in application delivery and management technology for Fortune 100 enterprises; and Into Networks, which provides a software-on-demand technology platform designed exclusively for broadband networks.
Meredith was a founding member of Road Runner, the high speed data joint venture of Time Warner, MediaOne (now Comcast), Microsoft and Compaq (now HP), where she served as vice president of Corporate Development. Prior to Road Runner, Meredith was vice president of Product Development at MediaOne Broadband Internet Services. In that position she was responsible for product management of MediaOne Express, the company's high speed data service, and DiveIn its local online programming initiative.
Earlier in her career, Meredith held senior management positions at US WEST Communications, including head of Content Strategy for the Interactive Television trial in Omaha. She pioneered the interactive media and technology space starting back in 1985 at Ogilvy & Mather Interactive, working with clients such as American Express and AT&T in mediums including online services and interactive television.
