Duane has over thirteen years of experience in the cable, telecommunications, and media industries in various capacities as a former VP of Business & Consulting Services, Executive Director of Market Strategy, and Telecommunications Consultant.  He is a founding Partner of Sand Cherry Associates, one of the leading consulting firms supporting the top cable, telecommunications, and media companies in the US, Canada, and Europe.  Sand Cherry is well-known for its expertise in market strategy, new product development, sales channel strategies, and customer operations.  The firm is headquartered in Denver with its European practice based in Budapest.  Prior to founding Sand Cherry, Duane was the Executive Director for the Market Strategy Development group for both AT&T Broadband and MediaOne Group (now Comcast), where he was responsible for developing the market and business strategies for domestic and international ventures in video, telephony, and high-speed Internet.  Duane has been a Price-Waterhouse management consultant, as well as a wireless telecommunications consultant at International Technology Consultants.  He received his MBA from the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University, and an MA in International Relations from the US Naval Postgraduate School.  Duane currently serves as co-Chair of CTAM’s Chapters’ Council, he is a past President of CTAM’s Rocky Mountain Chapter, and was a recipient of the cable industry’s 2004 TAMI award.
